The Tales of Beedle the Bard

The Tales of Beedle the Bard

My copy of Beedle the Bard came a few days ago and I managed to finish reading the book, it’s all kinds of awesome and a lovely supplement to the final Harry Potter book. It’s just 5 ickle wizard fairy tales with morals and banter from the late great Dumbledore :) I won’t reveal anything for those who haven’t read it yet but yeah, it’s an awesome and quick read.

I managed to get both the collectors edition and the normal hardback edition (I read the normal hardback just to avoid ruining the collectors one) and yeah, the collectors one is pretty epic, rarely do you get a book with a f**k off skull in front of it. Though quite a pricey thing for a special book!

freebie gigs?? I don’t know anything about this! What do you mean? And I don’t have your mobile number :( Adam and I were just saying how we haven’t seen you in (relatively) ages, compared to seeing you near enough every day!

It’s for tomorrow, Jarvis Cocker and a bunch of other folk do a Twisted Xmas. I told him to contact you via your blag / flickr. my number is in the moo card! (There’s a reason why I gave them out!!). But yeah, this whole weekend has been meetups, meetings and meals with friends, hectic but lacking of gigs. All shall be rectified tonight!

Get well soon! I’m tempted to get Beedle the Bard, but I might just borrow it off a friend because I’m so exceptionally cheap.

Oh man I have another gig tomorrow. I’m seeing James Yorkston and Malcom Middleton at St Giles, I’m on the guestlist (woo!) to do some photos for raggedwords.com. That’s a shame, I would have liked to see Patrick Wolf. How come John has some spare tickets?
Are you going to that Fee Fie Foe Fum thing?
And oh yeah, forgot about the moo card! I’ll text you when both my phone and your moo card are in arms distance.

Oh boo! I like how noone can go! I definitely can’t because work xmas do’s happen only once and I need some free wigne! (i pronounce wine as wigne for some strange reason). Mmm guestlist action is fun, though always scary when you’re not too sure whether they have confirmed the guestlist stuff, so many people i know have had it when they turn up and they’re not on the guestlist, though if you make a big enough stink about it they’d eventually let you in!

I want to go but tickets sold out before i got the chance to! :(

and pfft, typical student mentality :p
