After seeing Choir of Young Believers, me and Anika managed to catch Laura Marling play her special secret gig at Rough Trade East where she played 3 new tracks for us to enjoy. Anika noted that she was wearing the same top again when she played at Cargo hehe.
At the beginning of the gig they had this blue perspect thingy over the lights which darkened the light quite a substancial bit, it meant that it was quite a dark gig, luckily I asked the friendly staff at Rough Trade to perhaps turn the lights on or something and eventually they took the blue thingy out which made the gig brighter to view (and photolise). So yeah, no more flash haha.
It was fairly short but nonetheless fun, I didn’t have my camera with me so Anika kindly let me borrow her camera for photolising (I had a memory card to use so it involved a lot of switching). It felt slightly wrong using someone else’s camera (I’ll make sure I’ll just bring a camera whenever). Anika’s viewfinder was all out of focus for me when I looked at it and was well confused at first hehe, I didn’t change it so just assumed that what i was taking was in focus. Her shutter button was different from mine too (same camera!) I think mine’s all kinds of warned out so it doesn’t have that bounciness like Anika’s.
Afterwards me and Anika said BAI and I went home to play some more zombie killing
