Wildbirds & Peacedrums bandstand busking at Arnold Circus, they were an amazing couple. Was originally wondering how they were going to do it since there’s a lot of percussions going on, turns out they brought them all out.

It was fun seeing the usual gang turn up at the bandstand busk too, I was able to meet a few new people too (but didn’t really speak much). It was fun seeing the band talking to each other in swedish (it looked like cute husband and wife squabbling).

Before the performance you could hear Mariam the singer do a funny birdlike sound. Her voice was amazing and it filled up the entire bandstand. The highlight was when they played My Heart (cue Anika fist pump) where the they brought the steel drums out.

Though you can catch all the performances on video i urge you attend some of them because there’s something magical seeing bands perform outside the typical venue environment. And yes, hats off to the guys at bandstand busking, they’re awesome for organising everything!
