Teehee I love this film, I just saw it again today since I felt the need to watch a film to unwind from all the crazy gigging, next up, three more gigs in a row! Jeffery Lewis, I’m From Barcelona and Guillemots (most will probably know Guillemots). I still have yet to blog about Shearwater but I guess I’m letting the Sigur Rós gig settle in a bit hehe.
Some other news, my internet is currently borked since somebody tripped over the phone line cable so it needs replacing. no idea when it will be fixed (since i’m not in the house much after work (gigs and all)) so it’s kind of tricky haha. i guess it’s god’s way of saying i need a break from the interweb anyway 
i’ve got books, photos, music, videos and blog entries to write offline so it should be fine (plus I can occasionally go online with my mobile if i felt like it), just don’t expect any photos for videos uploaded for a bit (a bit = 1 day - 1 week i’d say). Feel free to write me emails so I can write from time to time 
I feel like I’m missing out, that movie looks awesome! Studio Ghibli movies are great, I was just thinking that I need to bring Pom Poko back with me from home so I can watch it again, but I forgot.
Pom Poko used to be my favourite Studio Ghibli, got to love horny racoons with huge balls haha.
I love Totoro! Nothing quite like unwinding to a Miyazaki film, is there?

though having to worry about lack of internet is quite a pain *grovels*. I’ve got the entire collection but i’ve yet to see them all, though i think i’ll save it for xmas when there’s not much going on 
Particularly recommend Porco Rosso- it’s pretty much my favourite film ever. I’ve watched it a dozen times, and it never fails to cheer me up!
Hehe i love Porco Rosso, the fight scene at the end is pretty epic, my friends brought me a cute Porco Rosso toy when they went to the studio ghibli museum
i think my favourite is still the cat returns, it’s not as epic as say nausicaa or princess mononoke but it’s just a cute feel good movie which i enjoyed watching

Heh I was in Japantown last week and I got a little Totoro, it’s now hanging out on my dashboard. Don’t know if you’ve seen it, but The Cat Returns is fantastic. Just bought it last week and I totally love it. Ahh, nothing like a Miyazaki film.
Yeah cat returns is my all time favourite feel good ghibli film i enjoy watching
i take it you’ve seen whisper of the heart too? Near where I live I saw a car that has a huge totoro plush toy that made me squee just a wee bit, aaah that was fun!
i think that’s the one i haven’t seen yet, after that one i’ll have seen them all. i should probably get on it. yeah i’ve had a couple of my friends squeal when they got in my car, it’s just so damn cute! oh and duh at me for not reading the above comments which say the cat returns is your favorite, heh.
hehe i have about 5-6 to watch, but i have them all which is cool, it’s a nice collection since all the films are numbered
